A new solo banner event called Haunted Hotline arrives in Monopoly GO on 1 PM ET on October 1st 2026 and runs until 4 PM ET on October 4th 2026. Here's a quick look at what you can win in this event and our best tips and strategy to play this event which score points by landing on tiles with the event icon.

- Pro Tip: Look out for clusters of point scoring tiles close together for the best opportunity to use a high multiplier. No point in going around the board on auto roll for this event if you are low on dice and trying to be efficient, you have to choose the best places to use a high multiplier. Also consider how long it's been since you've had a bank heist event when working out the multiplier that you want to use.

Haunted Hotline explained
You'll earn points in pickup events by landing on tiles marked with the event token. These tokens appear in random locations on the board, and each time you hit one, it will move to a new tile.
Each hit of a pickup token gives you two points multiplied by your dice multiplier, so a roll with a x10 multiplier earns you 20 points toward the event milestones.
Keep an eye on the board layout. Look for clusters of pickup tokens close together or near tiles like Chance, Railroad, or Shields — these can form valuable 'hot zones' where a high multiplier can really pay off.
Pairing this event with a High Roller boost can lead to some huge wins, but likewise, even if the odds are in your favor there is still a chance to miss and lose a ton of dice.
