24 Carrot Contest returns to Monopoly Go from 1 PM ET on April 18th 2025 until to 1 PM ET on April 20th 2025 giving you two days to play through the 48 milestones of this event to try to grab enough pickaxes to help you get through some of the levels of the current dig event, Spring Treasures.
As well as up to 149 pickaxes, there are also 11,340 dice rolls, three sticker packs and various flash boosts that can be won via the milestones, plus of course more goodies depending on where you end up on the leaderboard at the end of the tournament.
As with any tournament on Monopoly Go, points are scored by landing on any railroad, then you play either Shut Down or Bank Heist. Because this is a two day tournament, the Bank Heist points are doubled.
Also in play is the solo solo banner event Hoppy Handiwork which also offers viarious rewards from it's milestones including loads more pickaxes, so do take a moment to check out the milestone list fo that event that runs until 1 PM ET on 19th April, when that event ends, then next solo banner event, Easter Egg Hunt starts right after.

How to play 24 Carrot Contest
Scoring points in any Monopoly Go tournament is simple but requires some luck to score well. You will earn points whenever you land on any railroad. This will give you a chance to play either Shutdown or Bank Heist which will give you points based on the outcome. The points you get for each of these are as follows:
Shutdown
- Shutdown Blocked - 2 points
- Shutdown Success - 4 points
Bank Heist x2
- Small Heist - 8 Points
- Large Heist - 12 Points
- Bankrupt - 16 Points
- Mega Heist Gold Bars - 24 Points
These points are then multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw to determine your final points for that turn.
With the four railroads spread evenly around the board it is not easy to plan a strategy, but it is worth seeing what other events are currently running to see if you can combine progress. Check out our all events explained page for details of any events that are scheduled for today.
24 Carrot Contest leaderboard rewards
In every tournament you are placed in either a group of 50 or 100 players, and where you finish in that group determines your leaderboard reward. While we generally do not know what the actual rewards will be until the tournament starts, we can make a good guess basd on previous events, but we'll need to wait to see what actually happens when the tournament starts. Some tournaments offer 1,500 free dice for the top placed finisher, but others only 850. Two day tournament rewards are generally different.
