Looks like there is an issue today on the 21st November which has occured at the time of the start of the Thanksgiving Partners Event .

That's super bad timing as so many players were geared up to get started in this event. So please check the official social outlets for updates. We'll do our best to keep this page updated too with anything we hear.

Why is Monopoly Go Not Working?

There are a number of reasons why the Monopoly GO! app may not be working. Some of these are completly out of your hands such as server related issues, where the game may be taken down to repair a bug or other technical issue. In which case, there is not much you can do. If you think this may be the issue. Then try checking the official social channels for the game over on Twitter and Facebook. The Official Monopoly GO! Official Discord is also a great place to look for updates and talk to other players that may be experiencing issues.

Another thing you could check is your own internet connection. Monopoly GO! needs an internet connection for you to be able to play, so if your connection is not stable, then maybe that is the cause of the game not working.

Monopoly Go Servers Down

From time to time there are technical issues which cause the Monopoly GO servers to go down. During these times there is no way to get back into the game until they have brought the servers back online again. Check the usual social sites for the game to get the latest up to date info about the Monopoly GO server status if you think there is a server problem.

This does seem to happen from time to time. Curiously this happened to me on one device, but when I tried at the same time on another the game loaded fine. I would suggest rebooting your device and moving to a location where you are sure you have good and stable internet connectivity and trying again.
