Mobile games with gacha elements will mean that you’ll be acquiring a lot of heroes for your collection. In Mobile Legends: Adventure, there are a lot of heroes that can be obtained, and they can come with different types as well which can affect their resonance. There may be instances where you will want to level up another hero that isn’t part of your main team, but your resources are limited.

Thankfully, this is where the Holy Sanctuary comes in. In this page, we’ll be checking out the features that the Holy Sanctuary can provide for your heroes in terms of levels, as well as the restrictions when using this system. Let’s check what this feature has in store for you, especially if you have a lot of heroes that are waiting to be used.

What is the Holy Sanctuary?

The Holy Sanctuary is a feature that you can unlock in the city that lets you bless heroes in order to acquire levels instantly. In order for this to work, your top 5 strongest heroes will be the basis of the sanctuary’s blessing level. For example, if your top 5 heroes are all level 100, then the blessing level will be 100.

In this image provided, you can see that four heroes are leveled 95, while one is leveled 86. This means that the weakest hero of your top 5 will be the basis of the blessing’s level. You will then place heroes on the slot on the right side for them to be blessed so they can be leveled up instantly.

Take note that the levels you can acquire from the Holy Sanctuary are not permanent. You can only get the level boost for your heroes as long as they remain on the slots of the sanctuary. Also, a hero’s rarity will determine their max level that can be acquired.

Once all of your top 5 heroes reach level 250, the blessing level cap will be removed. The EXP of the top 5 heroes will be transferred to the Holy Sanctuary, which will let you exceed level 250 for the blessing. All of your top 5 Heroes will return to level 1, but they will still be able to use the Blessing level. Once this has been achieved, your Hero Sanctuary’s Blessing level will now longer depend on your top 5 heroes.

Cancelling Blessings

Heroes that have been blessed will have their levels boosted according to the blessing level, and you will find that their levels are colored green as shown on their icons. They can only retain this level as long as they stay on the sanctuary. There might come a time where you’ll need the slot, so you will have to remove a hero of your choice.

When removing a hero from the Holy Sanctuary, this will cancel their blessings and return them to their original level. Take note though, that there’s going to be a 24-hour timer for the slot before it can be reused again.

If you want to bypass this timer, there’s actually a way for you to remove the hero from the sanctuary slot using another feature. If you use the level transfer feature at the Dismantle Shrine, you can transfer a hero’s level to someone on the sanctuary for a few Diamonds, this will automatically remove them from the slot, but there’s no 24-hour timer that will occur. (Take note that this may change in the future depending on the game’s updates).

How to unlock more Holy Sanctuary slots

Now that you know how the Holy Sanctuary works, you’ll want to have as much slots as possible in order for you to add more heroes for leveling up. Some of the slots can be automatically unlocked for you as you progress through the game’s campaign mode. You will see that there’s stage requirements in order for you to unlock the next slots.

Once the padlock icon is changed into a green plus symbol, you can place a Hero on the slot. However, if you only see an unlocked padlock icon, it will mean that you’ll have to purchase the slot using Diamonds. The number of Diamonds that’s needed will increase as you unlock more slots later on.

Using the Holy Sanctuary is an easy way for you to use the rest of your remaining heroes without having to use resources to level them up and evolve them. There will be instances in the game where your current main team might be having disadvantages versus an enemy team, so being able to swap out your heroes with other types will be really useful.

Reaching level 250 in Mobile Legends: Adventure will require you to increase the star ratings of your heroes, so focusing on your main 5 characters and spreading out their levels equally will provide you the most benefits for the Holy Sanctuary.
