This will determine which types of skills they have on the battlefield, as we hope that this guide will help you understand generally what team combinations and formations you can create. Let’s check the different classes that are available!

What are Hero Classes?

In Mobile Legends: Adventure, you get to have a specific menu in order to view your current heroes that you have, as well as the gallery that shows all heroes that are available. Hero Classes determine the type of gameplay each character has. In Mobile Legends: Adventure, there are 5 classes that are available that you can acquire. Each class has a general role they fill in, but of course each hero will still have some variation because of their skill sets. You can check the list of classes on the table below, as well as their descriptions, and some useful notes.

Hero Class Description Notes
Fighter Skilled at dealing Melee Damage Fighters can be placed at the Front or Middle Row. Since they deal melee damage, they will still automatically move to the front of the battle. Their skills deal a lot of damage, and they can provide debuffs to opponents as well as control skills such as stun. Some fighters focus on their own skills as well by increasing their damage output. They can take in some damage, but not as good as tanks.
Tank Skilled at absorbing damage. Tanks are placed at the Front Row. They will take in the bulk of the attacks of enemies since they will be in the first line of fire. Their skills can provide them with shields to make them tankier, or perhaps they can boost their defenses further to prolong staying on the battlefield. They can have skills that help control enemies such as stunning them, knocking them up, and even disrupt enemy formations. They will appreciate having a support to heal them in battle.
Marksman Skilled at dealing Ranged Physical Damage. Marksman can be placed at the Middle or Back Row. Similar to warriors, they deal Physical damage but they can attack from a distance. Their defenses are not as good, so they focus on DPS. They can debuff enemies, and provide buffs on themselves to increase their damage output. Some Marksman heroes can deal damage to the back row which is good for taking down enemy support or damage dealers.
Mage Skilled at dealing Ranged Magical Damage. Mages can be placed at the Middle or Back Row. Their skills can provide burst damage or AoE damage which is very useful for taking out enemies as fast as possible. They can also have debuff and control skills which will help the team. However, they are very frail in terms of defenses, so you will want a Tank or Warrior to cover for them until they can unleash their ultimate skills.
Support Skilled at providing Regen or Control Support can be placed at the Back Row. Their skills focus on helping out the entire team by providing heals for regenerating HP, they can also provide buffs to boost the stats of allies, or perhaps they can use control skills to immobilize enemies in order to disrupt their attacks. They are very useful to sustain your heroes on the battlefield so they can continue using their skills.

Importance of Positioning your Heroes

When starting a battle, you have the option to move your heroes around in order to have a specific formation. You can deploy a total of 5 heroes, and they can be placed either in the Front, Middle, or Back rows. You can place a maximum of 2 heroes each row, but take note that some heroes will move on their own and change rows based on their attacking style and skill sets.

For example, placing Fighters at the middle row will let you two more heroes at the front row. But when a battle starts, the Fighter at the middle will automatically run to the front since they deal melee damage. We provided suggestions on where to place your heroes based on their class on the table above in order for them to maximize the roles that they have.

Things to consider: You must take note though that you must be flexible with changing the positioning of your heroes whenever the battle requires it. There are some heroes that can disrupt your position, such as some tanks that can pull in heroes from the back row. There are also enemies that can target your back row heroes which can disrupt your supports. Observe how your opponents attack, and move your heroes around accordingly. This can change the outcome of the battle and let you win.

By learning more about your heroes’ strengths and weaknesses with their classes, you’ll be able to create formations easily that will help you in battle. Aside from their roles and positions, there are still other ways to win the battle such as increasing your team’s power and providing them with a resonance bonus if you have specific type combinations.

You can also check out the different tier lists hat we have on our guide page since we have grouped them according to their class types. We hope that this list will help you in aiming for a specific hero of your choice. You can also choose any hero that you want since it’s your game after all. You can use our tier lists as guides, but remember that they aren’t rules.
