There was a spring update not too long ago, I wonder if it's related? I don't have the pink blob issue (I am on iOS)

You could try to back up the game and reinstall the app, but if the issue is still there you will probably have to contact sunny house support directly for technical issues like this. Or cross your fingers and hope someone else already reported this issue and wait for them to release a fix for it.
