Stage 09

How to solve Stage 09 which is the tenth level in MechBox 2.

Level 9 has a code keypad on the left and a screen on the right. The instructions ask that you type in a code and press #.

To start the puzzle we need to turn on the screen on the right. To do this tap and hold the hourglass button on the keypad for several seconds. Once it is on you can tap the dial in the lower right to change the screen to 5 different puzzles.

We need to find 3 codes in total to light up the 3 ligght in the center below the instructions. The 5 screens are clues to these codes.

Step 1

Slide the panel to the right of the screen to the right to reveal 4 symbols. then turn the dial to the forth screen which has similar symbols. Match the 4 on the right with the ones on the screen to get 9 3 5 4. This is not the code though.

Translate this to positions in the alphabet which gives you I C E D. We now need to 'text' this using the keypad which means finding th letters and tapping the keys the right amount of times for each letter. 'I' is the number 4 tapped 3 times.

Step 2

The 2nd and 3rd screen both have numbers in the top right corner. Screen 3 as a 1 an 2

Check the numbers in the grid and notice that the rows and columns add up to a fixed number.

Solution:

Screen 2 has numbers 3 4 5 in the corner. Check the numbers in the grid. they also all add up to the same number.

Put the numbers for positions 1, 2 and 3, 4, 5 together to get

Step 3

Check screen 5, This has the word CLON but what look like letters are positions on a grid. Return to Screen 1 and notice that the lines around each letter on the grid are similar, find the numbers for the shapes on screen 5.

Solution:

Like in step 1 we need to 'text' this word to get a number code

This will light the third light and reveal the green button.
