How to solve Stage 05 which is the sixth level in MechBox 2.

This layer has a screen and keypad on the left with the designation CAESAR - 1. And 4 dials with 4 buttons on the right.

Stage 05

To start you need to align all 4 dials with the needles pointing to the top. To do this tap the buttons to move the dials. Each button will control more than 1 dial.

Method:

Show

Tap the top right button until the right hand 2 dials are pointing in the same direction.

Tap the bottom right buttons until the left 2 dials are pointing in the same direction.

Tap the top left button to point the right 2 dials to the top.

Tap the bottom left button to point the left 2 dials to the top.

Stage 05

Once done the screen activates and you will need to enter a password. The clue is on the screen.

The screen says 'Enter BIOS'. BIOS can been seen as numbers

You now have options for 1: Floppy Drive, 2: Turbo mode

Press 1 to open the floppy drive slot

Then press 2 to spin the dials. Press 2 several more times until the needles fall off.

Stage 05

Tap the right dial several times now until a floppy disk drops from behind it. then drag this to the drive to insert it. A long string now appear on the screen. this is a clue to a code.

OJOF – AFSP – GJWF – UXP – OJOF – AFSP – GJWF – UXP – OJOF – AFSP – GJWF – UXP

The clue to solve this is the name on the panel CAESAR -1. This text is encoded with a Caesar cipher. To unscramble the text you need to transpose each letter backwards in the alphabet by one letter.

Enter this code into the keypad to reveal the green finish button and end the level.
