What is the deal with the memories book. It keeps showing an exclamation point but I can’t find anything..

You have design decorator awards to be collected. Possibly more than one.

Click on your alert, when the book opens, look to the right page and look for a full blue bar w/ 16/16 completed & sofa badges, click in that section & it will stamp it collected and rewards will be given. Use the bottom numbered presents with a green/orange alert to skip directly to where any other such rewards are pending collection to clear in-game orange exclamation mark notification.

I had same question when I found your unanswered one, I eventually just started clicking through randomly and annoyingly redecorated my mansion for valentines focusing on the green “go” buttons at first. So, don’t do that unless you intend to.
