How do you get rid of the mice, drops of water and brooms?

Move them around on the screen. When you find the real mouse, or the trash to sweep up, the you will see what needs to be done. But I can’t find a reason for the green arrow.

Follow the direction the drop is pointing until you find where it wants you to stop. Then click on the water or mouse.
