Bonus Chapter - Part 1

Welcome to Part 1 of our Lost Lands 10 Bonus Chapter walkthrough. This game is another in the popular line of Mystery escape room and puzzle games from Five-BN games. This game features beautifully designed environments and a diverse range of puzzles and hidden objects to find.

The bonus chapter will open up once you complete the main game. Having defeated Buldan and saved Folnur you can now play through this extra chapter of the game which focuses on Kiana and her journey to find Susan again after they are separated at the mine.

Bonus Chapter Walkthrough - Part 1

You begin as Kiana lands the parachute chairs after the rocket car propels her and her grandmother out of the mine. You need to find out where you are and then find a way to get back to Susan.

Task - Away from Grandma

Collection Item: Fluffy, small animal on the tree near the top/center of the scene.

Morphing Object: Plant / lamp in the front of the tree about half way up.

First tap on the water on the left of the tree. There is a bridge here over grown with spiked plants.

Collect a Round Mirror from the path at the bottom.

Next tap on the ground to the left of the tree you will see a paper with a message.

Collect a Key and then notice the color clue on the note.

Now view the small door at the base of the tree. You can use the key here to unlock it.

Next you need to solve the puzzle.

Tree Door Puzzle

• The board is made up of squares, Each one has a colored flower in each corner.
• Tap the center of the squares to rotate them and move the flowers around.
• Arrange the flowers according to a clue that you have seen.

Once done the door is open, look inside. It is dark

Collect a Brush from the visible area on the lower left. View the round mirror in your inventory and use the brush on it. It will not clean it yet, it tells you you need a wet brush.

Now tap a branch on the right of the tree. It has a rope connected to a branch. The rope will break.

Task - View from above

Now tap to view the winch itself. There are some broken dishes on the back right. Tap these to collect Bottom of the Jug.

Now view the parachute chair that is hanging on the left. You can tap this and a cap will open on the bottom left.

Then use the bottom of the jug on it to collect some Alcoholic Liquid.

View the mirror again and then add the alcoholic liquid and the brush. This will then let you collect the cleaned Mirror.

Look inside the the tree again and place the mirror on the bracket on the top right. You now have some controls to tap to more the mirror and direct the beam of light.

Move it until you find another mirror in the beam, then you can direct the second mirror until it shines on a crystal in the center of the room.

Once done you can look around the room.

Collection Item : Fluffy, animal hidden behind a green plant on the bottom right.

Morphing Object: decoration hanging above the bed on the left.

View the table on the right. You can straighten up the small cooking grill and then collect an Insect Figurine.

Next tap to open the red curtain at the back of the room. And then look inside the gap. There is a tipped over cabinet.

Try to open the doors, they are jammed, but you can collect another Insect Figurine from the lower right and then also find a picture.

Look on the back of the picture to find a clue.

Now view a small cabinet on the left of the room. This has a lock that requires five symbols.

Use the symbols from the clue on the picture.

These can be different in your game.

When it opens you can read the book on the left of the cabinet, this is a diary. On the final page you can find a clue.

Collect Uri's Diary. Then collect a Grappling hook.

View the winch on the right of the tree again and add the grappling hook to it. It will attach it to the branch above.

Tap the winch again to lower the branch.

Now you can get into the tree to look from above and see a memorial.

Collection Item: Fluffy, animal by a rock to the right of the memorial.

Morphing Object: leaf/stick on the ground below and to the left of the memorial.

View the plaque on the front of the stone memorial to read the message. Then look on top of the memorial to find a puzzle

Balance Puzzle

• There are a number of grey blocks of different sizes.
• You need to place the blocks onto the four already in the center.
• The number of blocks piled up on each side of the center line is shown.
• Place all of the blocks in a way that the numbers on each side are balanced (the same).

Once done a panel opens and you can collect a Bottle of water and a Flint.

You will then meet Furi

Task - Even Higher

Look in the diary on page 128 to find the bait recipe. You need to find these items.

Then you can view a tree on the right of the scene and tap the lower branches to move them. Then collect a Fruit of Tropical Spruce.

Go back to the House in the tree and look at the bed. Move the covers and the pillows until you find another Insect Figurine to collect. Then also collect a Bunch of Feathers from the pillow.

Now move a rug in the center of the floor, there is a round hatch.

Add the three insect figurines to it and the hatch will lift to reveal a puzzle.

Floor Hatch Puzzle

• There are six red spider bugs on the board, and one green fly.
• You need to move them to the bug shaped slots around the center. The fly goes in the center of the circle.
• Slide them along the straight lines or rotate them around the two circles of the web.

Once done the hatch is fully open and you can look inside the basement.

You now have a challenge to search the scene to find a hook. There are ten items to find to help you do this.

On the left wall collect an Ale Keg and a Jar with Eyes.

Then on the right wall, collect a Trowel and a Trading Weight.

Then on the floor below this there are some containers, collect from here a red Can and a Ladle.

Move some loose floor tiles on the left side to uncover some earth, then use the trowel here to dig and collect a Beetle Figurine.

Now look on the back wall, there is a shelf and a glass tank below.

Tap the large glass jar on the top shelf to break it open, then you can collect a Key and a Glass Shard.

Next use the Ale Keg on the glass tank to fill it. Then place the Red Can and the Trading weight on the lower right.

Tap the can to open it and place the weight inside. Then place the can into the tank to further raise the level. Now you can collect another Key.

Now look in the tree stump in the center. Tap on the sack in the center to get a prompt about emptying it.

Use the Glass shard on the sack to cut it open. Then use the Ladle on the contents to scoop it out. Now you can remove the sack and collect some Secateurs from below.

Use the secateurs on the branches on the back left of the room to cut them away, then you can view a locked chest.

Use one of the keys to open the padlock and remove the chain. Then you need to add the Beetle Figurine to the left side and use the other key to open the chest itself.

Collect from the chest a Jack, and Corkscrew and a Spatula.

View the Jar of eyes in your inventory and use the Corkscrew on it, this will open the jar and you will collect three Eyes of the Curious.

Now back up to the room above and look at the tipped over cabinet at the back of the room again. Add the Jack to it to let you open the door further.

Inside is a safe that you need a code for. Notice the six symbols.

View the Diary again and Furi will give you a hint about getting a code clue from it.

Look through the pages to see each one has a symbol, then follow the instructions on the last page.

Solution:

Inside you can find a book with information, and then collect a Mortar and Pestle and a Saw.

Exit the house and then view the overgrown path on the left again. Use the Saw to cut and then collect the Thorny Vines.

Now you can move forward to the Foggy lake.

Collection Item: Fluffy, animal in the branch of the tree on the upper right.

Morphing Object: Pine cone in the tree above the old boat, near the top left.

View the old boat and then use the spatula on the side to collect some Marsh Moss.

Then view a small patch of reeds by the tree on the right, move these aside and then you can collect the Cob of Cattail.

Now view the book again to find the recipe for the Bait for flying turtles. Then add the items: Thorny vines, Fruit of tropical spruce, Eyes of the curious, Marsh Moss, Cattails and the Bunch of feathers. You will collect the Ingredients for Bait.

Return to the house in the tree and look on the table on the right and add the ingredients to it. Then also add the Mortar and Pestle.

Then you can follow the instructions in the diary.

Add the thorny vines to the portable stove.

Then you need to try to use the Flint to light them. When it doesn't light add the Fathers to the stove as well and try the flint again.

Once this is burning tap the Tropical spruce fruit and add it to the Mortar. Then once it is ground add this to the fire in the stove.

Next add some of the Cattails and the Eyes of the curious to the flames. Finally add the Moss on top of the stove.

You can then collect this again as the Turtle Bait.

Head back to the Fogy Lake and place the bait on the ground. You then need to make a magic summon spell.

Magic Summoning Puzzle

• There are 5 circles with different colored points on them.
• Each of points have lines connecting the matching colors.
• Drag and place the colored points onto the correct circles to untangle them and also make sure the lines between them fit the circles.
• The colors with the higher number of dots on them need to go to the outer circles.

Once done the bait will attract a Turtle. Tap it to see that it is stuck in a net.

Return to the house in the tree and you can collect some Nippers from the floor by the overturned stool. Then go back to the turtle and use the nippers to remove the net.

You can now use the Turtle and you will fly away to a new location.

Task - Dam

There is a red leaved tree and a skeleton in armor below it.

Collection Item: Fluffy, animal in the leaves on the right of the Skeleton.

Morphing Object: stick / carrot, just to the right of the steps on the right.

View the skeleton to see that it is covered with ivy. You are told you need to cut the ivy away.

Next view the Rock to the left of the tree, You can collect a Straight Razor from the right side of the rock.

View the skeleton again and use the razor on the ivy, you can then collect a Quiver of Arrows.

Next tap the steps on the right to move up to the top of the cliff.

Collection Item: Fluffy, animal on the rocks on the far left of the scene.

Morphing Object: Small changing mountain peak to the right of the large bird in the tree.

View the bird in the tree, It has something in its claws.

Use the saw on the branch to cut it, the bird will fly off. Then you can collect the Eye of the Telescope from the nest. There is also a spiked glove in the nest that you cannot collect yet.

Add the Eye piece to the telescope on the left, you can then look through it to see around the valley.

Now view the broken bridge, use the straight razor on the ropes on the right to cut them and then you can collect the Wooden Pole.

Go back down to the skeleton and view the rock on the left again. Use the wooden pole on this to move the rock and find a passage.

Collect the Elogan Bow from the ground. Then view this in your inventory.

Add the quiver of arrows to it, but you still need a string.

Now you can collect the Withered Hand from the floor by the rock.

Then back up and return to the Foggy Lake, on the right is a an old tree stump, view this.

Tap the bark to pull some away, inside are some spiders. Add the Withered Hand here and the spiders will move to it.

Now you can use the Nippers to cut and collect some Strong Spider Thread.

View the Bow again and add the thread to it. You then collect the Bow and Arrows.

Return to the passage behind the rock and move forward through it, you reach a fork in the road. This is now a maze puzzle.

Canyon Maze Puzzle

You can make your way through various steps, passages and paths to explore the labyrinth.

The first task is to find a stone door that has 10 symbols on it. This is the exit but it is locked.

To find this follow the path as follows.

Steps on the left.

Steps on the left again.

Move a rock on the left and enter a cave.

Doorway on the right.

Archway on the left.

To open the door you now need to travel through all of the areas of the maze to find the ten symbols that are on the door. These are hidden in most of the areas (1 at a time). But in random locations.

When you find the symbol tap it to fire an arrow at it and activate the button.

In one location you find yourself over looking the dam, the symbol may be on the opposite cliff face.

Once you have found all ten make your way back to the stone door and it will open.
