I play this on my mobile phone, and the screen is too small to count the items needed to open the box..

You can skip puzzles for 25 coins. Near the bottom right is an arrow button next to the coins symbol. Tap this to skip it.

If you don't have enough coins you will need to buy them or watch adverts to earn more.

You should be able to zoom in though on the screen. Try to use pinch zoom to see if the view enlarges for you.
