How to Get More Gold Coins in Fountain Partners
There are about five, sometimes six, ways to get tokens for any partner event. This time around we look at all the ways to get gold coins in Fountain Partners.
Gold Coin Links
Gold coin links did appear in the Fountain Partners event, there were only two and they have now expired as the event is over. Look out for more event token links in the next partner event on Monopoly Go.
Solo Milestone Events
Solo milestone events usually run for two or three days and usually have the most event tokens, so they are definitely events that you need to know about if you want to complete all of your fountains. On our page for Pillar Prize Tour which is the first solo milestone event that runs after Fountain Partners has started you can check out all of the rewards and milestones, to work out how far into the event you need to play to get the coins that you think you need.
For example, for me, I'll be aiming at the most for milestone 38, although it will be a tough milestone to reach, I will split my progress over the two days of the event, to make sure that I score more or less equally in the two tournaments that will run over the two days of this event.
With 3,750 coin tokens up for grabs in this event, the solo milestones are the best way to get a large chunk of the gold coins that you'll need for Fountain Partners.
Tournaments
Tournaments are another great way to get a load of gold coins. These run either daily or every two days and you get points for these by landing on any railroads. Again try to check out the milestones list for the tournaments that are currently running, these best way is to head to our all events explained page, where you can then find the link to the currently running tournament, and any new tournament due to start later in the day to check out what you can win and how many points you'll need.
Apart from the milestone rewards in tournaments, you can get more gold coins in the leaderboard rewards, so if you finish with a good enough ranking in your group, you'll also get some gold coins that way too.
Remember that you won't find any gold coins in any tournament that has already started before Fountain Partners has started. So the first tournament that you'll be able to get gold coins in will be Marble Trouble, and when that event starts is when we recommend that you start to to collect gold coins as both the main event and tournament will have gold coins in their milestone rewards.
Quick Wins
Every day there are new Quick Wins, complete these easy tasks while Fountain Partners is running for some gold coins. We have Quick Wins explained in detail, but generally they are three easy to complete tasks such as pass go, throw a double etc... complete the Quick Wins of the day to get the corresponding rewards, and while Fountain Partners is active, those rewards will usually include gold coins.
Free Shop Gifts
A few more coin tokens can be got by collecting the free shop gift when it appears every eight hours. To get this, head to the shop and swipe the top block to the left about five times, until you get to the end. Usually you'll get some dice and sometimes stickers, but while Fountain Partners is running, you can also get some free gold coins too.
On the Game Board
Look out for gold coin tokens on the game board when Fountain Partners is running. You'll get a the same number of gold coins that as dice that you used to land on tile with the gold coin token on it.
If you are out of options and just need a few more gold coins, then this is a great way to get more, as long as you have the dice to roll! Don't forget you can always try to get more free dice by clicking on the dice links on our free dice links page. If the links are active, Monopoly Go should open up and you'll get the reward. Links do expire though, so it's a good idea to check every day for new ones.
In case you don't know we were the first website to collect free dice links and put them on an easy to find page. We started to do this about a year ago when the game first started, and have been keeping that page updated every single day since then!
