FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper Guide
This guide is meant to assist in defeating bosses in Elite Dungeons. Elite Dungeons are unlocked by mastering the Classic version of each of the available levels. As usual the difficulty of these dungeons are typically relative -- for a well-leveled party with strong gear these will mostly be a cakewalk. Otherwise, expect a tougher time for an average battle party.
Chaos Shrine

| Boss Condition | Defeat Garland without being KO'd. |
This is one of the easier elites in the game where an average party will do just fine. Have a healer/support character, cast boost on your strongest attackers and have them go to town on Garland. Support units are healers.
Western Keep

| Boss Condition | Afflict Astos with Silence. |
The boss condition states to stick Silence on Astos so that's what you have to do. Bring either one of these spells - Silence (white magic) or Silence Attack/Silence Buster (physical). Aerith's Seal Evil Soul Break also works.
Cavern of Earth 1

| Boss Condition | Exploit Vampire's weakness to fire/holy atks. |
Support characters should boost attackers and/or black mages. For offense use fire abilities like (Fire Strike (Other), Fira/Firaga (black magic). Holy spells are more difficult to create so you'll want to just pass on that. Simply get a Champion rating on all the previous stages then exploit Vampire's weakness to fire, and that should give you enough steam to earn Master.
Cavern of Earth 2

| Boss Condition | Exploit the Lich's weakness to fire attacks. |
Support characters should boost attackers and/or black mages. For offense use fire abilities like (Fire Strike (Other), Fira/Firaga (black magic). You may also consider sticking Silence on Lich and this should be a quick battle.
Mount Gulg

| Boss Condition | Afflict Marilith with Blind and Sleep. |
For this boss, focus on sticking either Blind or Sleep since getting both to work can be really tough. One other thing is that Marilith has a Blind-all attack so spam Silence on her until it sticks, which might take a few retries. Just meet one of the boss conditions and get a Champion rating on all the previous stages, that should give you enough steam to earn a Master score.
Cavern of Ice
