How do I get lava pits? I have completed many areas in the new garden section but stopped getting lava pits after the second area.

Go to the stage and complete levels in there and your reward is lava pits or you can also sell off the flowers you don't want to keep but it only gives you one.
When I say stage I'm talking about the new building you don't have to pay for. Left side is a challenge to get lava pits and right side of two part building is a shop to buy the seeds.
