As of early November 2020 the limit is level 8000.

I’m at 885 and there doesn’t look to be an end...

I am at level 2119 and it showning the idle reward will increase between 2500-3000I think it may have upto 4000 or 5k maybe more

I'm at level 8000, when you get to that level you cant go any higher so you just play random peoples armies but you get more money for wins if you get 3 stars and less money for less starsSearch for more answers for Art of War: Legions or ask your own here.
