This is Part 2 of our guide to The Girl in the Window, a creative escape room mystery story game from Dark Dome. The game begins with the story of an abandoned house where a mysterious murder took place 20 years ago. The crime was never solved. You enter the house, but now you are trapped.

Note: many of the puzzles will have varying solutions, so codes in your game can be different from the ones shown here. The method to find the solution for you will be explained.

You have just found the missing control knob for the TV in Part 1. Now move back to the view with the TV and look at it again. Add the TV control dial to the panel.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Now you need to set the dials to the correct positions. The clue for this is in the TV image. Above the girls head are 2 circle with lines.

Once you have the dials set correctly you will be able to collect a plastic handle.

Combine the hand and the glass shard to get a makeshift knife.

Notice also that the wallpaper is pulled away in the wall where the girl is drawing. It is to the right of the front door.

Now turn around to the opposite view to view the armchair and the table. Then view the table.

Use the knife on the cheese to cut a piece, then collect it.

Next notice the drawing on the picture frame above the armchair. This is a clue.

View the armchair and then tap the seat cushion to lift it.

Use the knife on the base of the chair under the cushion to cut it open and collect a cross.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Move to the right again to the front door and use the knife on the wall to the right of the door. This will cut away the wallpaper and reveal a symbol. This can vary for each game.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Turn around to the view with the boarded up door and now view the other locked door on the low cabinet on the left.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Draw the pattern from behind the wallpaper in the grid and the door will unlock.

Collect another key (with an oval shaped handle) and a light switch.

Turn to the view with the armchair and the window. To the right of the window is an electrical box.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

View the box and open it to see a puzzle. You will need to use the electrical safety glove to access this.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

To solve the puzzle rotate the pieces to make all of the lines match up.

Once done you can use the switch above to turn on the outside light.

Then tap the curtain to close it. There are 4 holes that let light through.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Move back to the front door view and tap on the small panel to the left of the door. This is missing a switch.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Add the switch to it that you have and then use it to turn off the lights in the room.

Now turn to the right and you will see that the light from the window is illuminating 4 symbols on the wall. These can be different for you.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Notice also that there are 4 squares to the window light projection, and these have tree branch outlines on them as well.

Now look in the notebook. Turn to the page with the photo. On the left is a diagram with 4 squares at the bottom.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Match these squares to the outlines on the window projection. Then get the symbol from each in the order shown in the book. This will give you a 4 symbol combination.

Find the front door and turn the room light on again. Then turn back to the view with the window (curtain closed) and tap on the small 2 drawer unit on the right below the window.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Close the top drawer and now you can use the combination to open the padlock on the lower drawer. The combination will vary for each game.

The Girl in the Window Part 2

Collect a metal rod from inside.

This completes Part 2 of our walkthrough for the game. Please continue to Part 3
