Raid Shadow Legends Battle Guide
RAID: Shadow Legends Guide
Here we have a summary of the battle setup and tactics in Raid: Shadow Legends with some tips on how to succeed.
The basic battle mechanic is a turn-based system and is fairly easy to understand. In each battle you are able to create a party of four champions to fight against the opposing side. Your team of 4 can be used to defeat the enemies, although when playing the campaign mode, you are able to attack with less and gain a better rating . To get the 3 star result in the battle you will have to win with 2 or fewer champions, and not take any loss.
A tip for selecting champions for the battle is to pay attention to the Colour Affinity of your champions and the enemies. At the bottom-left corner of a monster or character, you can check its element. They will belong to one of the affinities;
Red = Force,
Green = Spirit,
Blue = Magic,
Purple = Void.
3 of the affinities have advantages over each other.
Red is strong against Blue,
Blue is strong against Green,
Green is string against Red.
Purple (Void) Affinity does not have a weakness against any of the others.
Try to pick your champions that have strengths against the affinities of the enemies
On the stage selection screen you will also be able to check the reward that you may get on the victory. It could be a champion, shard, a potion, scroll, artefacts etc.
Remember to read and follow the skills of each of your champions. They will all have different skill sets and knowing how best to use them will ensure you stand the best chance of wining the battle.
Above any character’s head, the green bar displays their health, while the yellow bar displays the turn-meter. If it’s full, then your character will get the turn.
Above the enemy’s head, an arrow will show a color which will represent the attack effect:
A Green arrow means the enemy is weak against the champion who is on the turn
A Yellow arrow means there is no extra bonus over that enemy.
A Red arrow indicates the enemy is stronger than your champion in affinity.
Use this information during the battle to direct your attacks for the most damage.
