I can’t find anymore palm logs. Where are they?

Let me start by saying that I do like the game so far. I’ve been playing it for a little over a week. My problem is that I have two structures under way and I need palm logs for both as well as for lumber to make all the furniture. I have taken the few from the starter area and once you are done an area you can’t go back in. There should be more palm trees or a way to regenerate them in your home area. This is very frustrating and has me almost ready to delete the game.

I can’t find palm trees or a way to get hammers I’ve come to a standstill I hoped when I went up a level I would at least get hammers , I’m stuck
