Level 8

This is a walkthrough for Level 8 of Polyescape. This page will guide you through the actions needed to escape this level.

Level 8 begins in a blue room with a letter grid on the wall to the left.

Tap on the alcoves to the right to view and then collect a Locked Crystal.

Next view the letter grid to the left. We will need to make use of this soon.

Rotate the view to the opposite end of the room to see another letter grid.

To the left is a door the word BACK on it. and to the right of this a code entry with 4 letters needed.

Using the letter grids work out the code.

Use the code to open the door. Pass through into a room with paintings.

Rotate the view to see the door you can in.

On the bench on the right tap to collect a heart diamond. Then on the left of the door tap to view and then remove the Frame that says REMOVE ME.

From behind collect a white key card.

Go back to the initial room and use the key card in the slot next to the white door. We can now pass through into another room.

To the right are stairs that take you down to the lower level.

In front of you then are 8 cases with diamonds in them of different colours.

Look to the right and tap the blue column next to the door. There is a heart shape in the top.

Use the heard diamond from your inventory on this to open the door.

We can now go through and up to a balcony. Notice the numbers hanging from the ceiling.

To the left is another blue stand with 8 colour buttons on top. You can tap these to change the colours.

Set them to the correct colours.

Go back down the stairs and look to the right to see a new column has appeared.

Tap this to view the code entry and use the code found above.

Code:

Collect a screwdriver.

Combine the screwdriver with the locked crystal in your inventory to obtain the crystal. Then return to the painting room.

In the dark column at the end of the room there is a panel with a missing red crystal. Place the crystal you have there. A panel opens with a grid of buttons.

To solve this back up and view the painting to the left of the column. There is a grid over it, tap to collect the grid.

Next look to the left. There is a painting on the wall. You can tap this to view is and place the grid on it.

Collect the grid again and now look on the opposite wall for the same painting. You can view this and also put the grid on it.

Use these clues to solve the button grid in the column.

You can now collect a black key card.

Go back to the first room and use the key card to open the black door. Enter the room.

On the wall is the word MIND and below a 4 letter code entry.

Use the same method as in the first puzzle to find the letters MIND in the letter grids and get the new letter shapes.

Solution:

Collect a statue

Now return to the diamond room and descend the stairs. To the left are double doors with a statue missing from the right.

View this and place the statue on it.

The doors open and you can complete the level.
