This is Part 3 of our walkthrough for Nowhere House, a mind bending escape room style game from Dark Dome.

This is the story of Adria who you play as as you try to find a way to escape from the cursed house of the witch.
In part 2 we have just grown a giant beanstalk in Meridia's world and have climbed up enter the upstairs area.

Look around to find the table with the drawer. Open the drawer and collect a 'can opener'.

Turn to the right of this and you will see books on the ground.

View the books, you can collect the red one and you can look through the others. Flip through the pages of the bottom right book to find another OWL.

View the Red book in your inventory, it has an eye symbol.
Check through the pages to see clues.
4 trees, a well, and a grid of symbols.

Now you should move back to Adria's World (painting of the house)

At the fireplace, view the fireplace and add the Cauldron from your inventory to it.

Next add the fire wood to the hearth
Then select the Lighter from the inventory and tap on the firewood to start a fire.

Now select the Can Opener in your inventory and then tap on the Can of Tuna to open it.
Select the tuna and add it to the cauldron.

The smell from the cooking tuna attracts the missing cat. But you need to find it.
Turn around and go through the brown door to the stairs.
Then turn left to see the cat by the window.

Tap to collect the cat.

Switch over to Meridia's World
You will probably be still upstairs so find the open window and tap it to climb back down. Go back inside the house, then go through the brown door to the fireplace area to find Meridia.

Give the cat to Meridia and she will give you a green key, then you need to follow her.

Meridia is in the room with the crystal ball. Go through the brown door, and then turn to the left.

First tap on the crystal ball. you will see another OWL. The the eye of the witch looking at you.

Now tap on Meridia, she will do some magic. Pay attention now to the pattern on the sheet on the wall behind her. Some of the symbols have been highlighted. This is a clue.

Go back to Adria’s world.

Find the room view with the candles. (Next to the white door in the room with the stairs)

Hint: the candles are arranged in the same layout as the highlighted sun/moon symbols on Meridia's wall.
Solution: Use the lighter to light the candles that match the positions of the Sun symbols. Leave the Moon symbol candles unlit. If you have trouble you can switch between the worlds easily.

Once done the lower panel will open and you can collect a Metal Hook.

Now you need to go back to Meridia’s world.
Find your way back out side (white door) and then up the beanstalk to the top floor.

Look to your left to see the rabbit and a cabinet on the right.

View the cabinet and use the green key to unlock the closed door.
Open it and collect a Top Hat.

Switch to Delian's World

We want to return the hat to Delian so find your way to the stairs and then go up. Turn to the left to find him.

Give the hat to Dalian. He will ask you to follow him.

The view changes to 2 cabinets. Dalian is inside the open one.
Nowhere House Part 3



Close the left cabinet and then tap it to open it again. It is now empty. The on the right shakes.
Open the right cabinet and Dalian is now there with a box.

Collect the small hammer from the floor of the cabinet. Then tap to collect the wooden block with drawings that Dalian is holding.

Turn around and go back downstairs. Turn to the brown door and go through the the fireplace room, then turn to the right to find the glass case with the doll in it.

Use the small hammer on the glass to break it open (it will take several hits) then view the doll.
Tap the string on the back of the doll to activate it. It says, 'It's time'. A clue

Go back to Adria’s world.
Head to the room with the large clock. Inside and through the brown door to the fireplace, then turn the view to the other side to see the clock.

Having activated the doll the time is now fixed. It will no longer change when you exit and reenter the room. The time that is now fixed will vary for each game. For me it is stopped as show below.

Go through the brown door to the stairs, then view the lock on the small door under the stairs.
Use the code found above to open it.

Solution: In my case it is 1150 from the time on the clock. Although the time looks like it should be 10:50 you need to look at the numbers pointed to by the hands. the house hand is on the 11 and the minute hand is on the 10 (50 minutes). Your code will vary.Show

Open the small door and collect a wooden wheel with symbols and a yellow key.

First go back to Meridia's World

Find your way to the fireplace. I needed to exit the top floor through the window. Go back in through the white door, then turn left and go through the brown door.

Select the “Yellow Key” from the inventory and tap on the padlock on the chest to unlock it.

Use the Yellow key to open the red chest next to the fireplace.
Look inside and collect the binoculars.

Now return to Adria's World.

Head upstairs then turn to the right to see the wall with 3 wheels.
Add the 4th wheel that you just collected to the top left. You can view each wheel and tap it to turn it.

Hint: check the Red Book in your inventory for a clue.
The symbols and positions in your book can be different.

Solution: the table in the book shows 4 colored X's these match the color of the wheels. In each case you need to rotate the same colored wheel so that the symbol on the lft column which will be on the wheel, is aligned with the symbol on the top row that is on the wall. My solutions are below, yours will vary.

The panel opens and you can collect a small statue.

Now turn to the view on the left. There is a window and a totem symbol.
View the window and then tap to open it.
Then tap again to look outside.

Select the binoculars, then first tap the cave on the left to look at it and find another OWL

Next, use the binoculars to look at the group of red trees.

Note the symbols that you see on the trees and their positions. The symbols will vary with each game.

Back up into the room, we can now solve the totem puzzle on the right.
First, add the wooden block with drawings to the empty slot on the totem.
Solution: the symbols on the trees represent animals and should be set from top to bottom (highest up the tree first. For me this meant:
Bird/Owl (wings)
Monkey (Paw)
Snake
Tiger (Stripes)

Work out the correct settings for you and a panel will open to reveal a lever. Tap this and you will see a winch move down over the well.

Move outside to the well. - Go down the stairs, turn right and go through the white door.
Now select the metal hook and add this to the well lid / winch.

Next you need to head back inside and upstairs. Go back to the lever and pull it again to lift the lid.
Go back outside to the well.

Now follow the instructions found on the second page of the red book.
First select the bucket in your inventory and then tap the rope to combine them. A rope tied to a bucket.
Next with this selected tap on the small statue to give you 'An idol inside a bucket with a rope tied to it'.

Now use this item on the well.

You will receive a pink key.

Head back inside and go upstairs. Turn the view to the opposite side to see a blue table with a red book on top.

Use the pink key to unlock the book and open it.

Flip through the book to see 3 pages of information. When we get to the third page it refers to a wall of thorns which is what is blocking the exit from the house.

Tap the page on the right to tear out and keep the page with the instructions.

Now head back downstairs and find your way to the front door.
(turn around, go down the stairs, turn around and go through the brown door. Then turn right.)

The instructions say we need a frog, a flower and a lit candle.

Select the frog and place it in front of the door.
Then select the blue flower and place it there as well.
Finally combine the lighter and the candle in the inventory to get a lit candle and then place that by the door.

Now select the torn page with the spell and select 'Grab'
Then tap on the thorns in the doorway to read out the spell.

The wall of thorns disappears and we can escape the house.

Tap on the doorway to leave. This will trigger the ending. You can watch the ending cut scene.
Alternative Endings: There is a good ending that will require you to act during the cut scene to trigger it. For the bad ending just watch.

The cut scene will show you trying to leave but you cannot, you are still trapped. The police will arrive to find you but they cannot see you.

If you do not act you will see yourself trapped in a portrait in the same way that Meridia and Delian were. The witch then shape shifts to look like you so she can find another victim to trap.

Good Ending
To get a good ending you will have a window of time after the police leave, you will have been wearing a locket.

Select the small hammer and use it on the locket to smash it.

This will break the curse and clear the barrier. The others can see you and you can escape.

Unfortunately Meridia and Delian are stuck trapped in the paintings in the house.

There is more to do in the game though so check the extra content for a few more mysteries to solve.
