Valentines Partners Event Start and End Dates

Beginning at 7:30 AM EST on February 9th the Valentines Partners event will run for a little of 5 days to finish as 3PM EST on the 14th February. So you have plenty of time to chose who to join up with and let the magic happen with up to 4 lucky partners.

There will also be various other events happening during these 5 days that will help you to earn the Hearts you need to fill those price meters. Keep a look out for these on our Monopoly Go Events list

How to Play Valentines Partners

As with all partners events you need to join up with four other players in order to complete an object together. In the case of this event you'll be baking a cake. Then you need to collect hearts in order to spin the event wheel and get some points towards your cakes.

First of all let's look at the best ways to get partners.

How to get Partners for Valentines Partners

This is probably the most important step in the event, because you will be working together with four other players to contribute to baking cakes together. If your partner turns out to be inactive or doesn't pull their weight in the event you may not be able to complete it, and while you never really know how a partner will perform until you start playing together, there are some precautions you can follow in order to stand a better chance of teaming up with reliable partners, here are our suggestions:

  • Check your current friends list leaderboard, try to work get a few potential partners. You'll need to make sure that they are currently still active.
  • There are various subReddits and Discords that are dedicated to Monopoly GO. People may advertise their availability there and show screenshots of their current dice. Some will be telling the truth, but some may not be.
  • Head to our Monopoly Go Forum to look for a partner, we are a small but friendly bunch and you may just find your perfect partner there.
  • Try to remember who you have partnered with previously to try to recall if they we a good partner or not when deciding if you want to invite them again, or if you accept an invite from them.
  • Don't just accept any invite, do try to check out the player a bit first of all, the minimum being seeing where they are on your friends list leaderboard
  • You don't have to choose all four partners right away, you have some time, many top players leave gaps to add more partners later.

Now with some partners invited, here's how you can get points in Valentines Partners.

Be selective when adding partners - you can't remove them once accepted.

Are there any Hearts Links?

None Yet, Here's Why

How to get Hearts in Valentines Partners

To get points for this event, you need to collect hearts to do this

  • On the Game Board

Look out for the hearts on the game board, these will give you more hearts according to the size of your multiplier. It's an easy way to get them, but not the most efficient in terms of the number of dice you'll use.

  • Eight Hour Shop Reward

Every eight hours you can collect a free reward from the shop. Tap the three lines at the top of the game, enter the shop, then in the top panel, scroll right about four times and the eight hour reward is there or it will tell you when to come back for it, for the duration of this event, sometimes you will get hearts as part of the reward package there.

  • Quick Wins

Completing the individual quick wins every day is another great way to get a decent amount of hearts. The quick wins are generally easy to complete. You may want to try completing your Quick Wins on the February 8th after this event starts but before they get reset on the 9th in order to try to pick up some more free heart rewards.

  • Tournaments

Every day or every two days there is a new tournament, while Valentines Partners is running, you'll also be able to get some hearts from some of the milestones, check out our All Events Explained page to discover the current tournaments currently running on Monopoly Go.

How Many Points to Complete the Event

The points total you need to complete a cake is 80,000 points, so to complete the whole event you and your partners would need to accumulate 320,000 points together. That should underline the importance of trying your best to select helpful partners for this event. There is no set rule for the amount of points that you personally need to contribute. No matter what your contribution to an individual cake is, both partners can claim the same rewards.

Valentines Partners Rewards

In partners events rewards are split into milestone prizes as you complete a single cake and the grand prize if you manage to complete all four.

26,50048,000400 Dice, Money and 30 Minute High Roller
32,00080,000500 Dice, Money, Four Star Blue Sticker Pack and 20 Minute Cash Boost

Complete all four cakes in Valentines Partners to get a Grand Prize, the last partner event the prizes were as follows.

  • 5,000 Dice
  • Five star purple sticker pack
  • Cupid Token
  • 900 Minutes Mega Heist

Should I complete Each Cake Individually First

Some people play partner events by selecting one partner and completing one cake at a time. I don't play this way. As long as I have enough dice to to believe I should be able to make at least a 50% contribution to a completed cake, I add all of my partners early in the event and then try to distribute my points across all four partner cakes, aiming to match the progress of my partners.

What happens to left over heart tokens?

If you have any left of heart tokens at the end of the event they are usually converted into a reward of dice, money or a mixture of the two. It would be great if you could share your heart tokens with your partners! Monopoly Go... If you are listening!
