Monopoly Go Anniversary Treasures Dig Event Rewards
Running until at (1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST) on the 20th April 2024 is the current digging event on Monopoly Go, Anniversary Treasures. In this four day event, there are 20 levels loaded with prizes for you to try get as you uncover all of the items in each level.
Exactly what you can win can be found in our Anniversary Treasures rewards and milestones list below, but to get through these levels you'll need pickaxes, so we've also put together a guide on how to get pickaxes for Anniversary Treasures to make sure you have the best chance of completing this event and winning that Wild Sticker and 2,500 free dice rolls that are waiting for you on completion of level 20.

Complete level 12 to get the new Anniversary Elegance event shield, level 16 to get the Tiara token an level 20 to get 2,500 free dice rolls and a Wild Sticker. Everything is listed below.

How to play Anniversary Treasures
Collect pickaxes from banner events, tournaments, quick wins and shop gifts and then use those pickaxes to uncover the treasure on each level.

In each level of Anniversary Treasures there are a number of hidden treasures. When you have opened this mini-game, above tiles, you can see images of the objects that need to be found, each object occupies a certain number of tiles on the game board and can be orientated either horizontally or vertically. You'll need to spend your pickaxes wisely in order to make good guesses based on what needs to be found.
Unless you are looking for items that are 1x1 it's best to spread out your guesses based on the sizes of items you need to find and what tiles are still left to be uncovered. One method I usually use during these events is to start at one corner and then proceed diagonally towards the center. But it really depends on the objects that you need to find, as there may be better techniques.
How to get more pickaxes
Guessing logically and getting as many pickaxes as you can is the key to completing this dig event. Here are all the ways to get more pickaxes in Anniversary Treasures.
- Quick Wins - Complete these easy task for more pickaxes while a dig event is active. New Quick Wins are available every day at (6AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST). If you want more info on Quick Wins, head to our Quick Wins guide page.
- Shop Gift - Claim the free gift in the shop every eight hours and get some extra pickaxes when you make a claim while a dig event is active. To find this gift, click on the shop icon and swipe the top block to the right until you get to the final block. There you should find your free shop gift or a timer telling you when the next one is ready to collect.
- Banner Events - The bulk of the available pickaxes will be available in the main solo events, check out the daily schedule to see whats on and how many pickaxes you can get.
- Tournaments - Another good source of pickaxes are the tournaments, again check out the daily schedule to see whats on and how many pickaxes you can get.
- By Missing Digs - For the first time in a dig event, the game also with give some rewards if you missing some digging spots, this could be more pickaxes or dice. You don't get many this way, but it all adds up.
How many pickaxes will I need to complete Anniversary Treasures
It's hard to say an exact number as it will depend on the specific objects that need to be found and your luck in finding the treasures.
In previous dig events, I have aimed to collect about 400-450 pickaxes to complete a dig event, but this time around you may get away with a little less as reports have started to come in fro our Monopoly Go forum of completing it with anywhere from 300-366 pickaxes.
Check out the rewards and milestones lists for each of the tournaments and banner events, my own strategy is to target a milestone that is about half way or two thirds of the way through the event that has a lot of pickaxes and stop there. It all really depends on how many pickaxes I still need, how many events there are still and how many dice I want to spend.
Quick Wins and shop gifts also add up to quick a lot of pickaxes if you get them all for the duration of the event.
What happens to unused pickaxes at the end of the event?
When you complete the event, you won't be able to collect any more pickaxes, and any that you have left over will be converted to dice on a 1:1 basis. So if you want to be a bit tricky, you can put off finding the final treasure until you have collected loads more pickaxes and then find the last treasure a little before the event ends. But don't forget to find it, otherwise you will miss out on the big prize!
When does Anniversary Treasures end?
This event finishes on April 20th at (1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST). However, if you complete it before the end of the event, then you won't be able to collect more pickaxes and any remaining pickaxe rewards in any tournaments or events will be cash rewards.
