What is the Airplane Mode Glitch?
Basically the idea is that you use the airplane mode feature on your phone to not allow the game to send data back to the Monopoly GO servers if you don't like the outcome of your roll or a number of rolls.
This means you can effectively shutdown your game and start off again at the point before the bad rolls with your dice returned at the point where you switched on airplane mode.

How to do the Airplane Mode Glitch in Monopoly GO
It's actually really simple to do the airplane mode glitch in Monopoly GO!, follow the steps below if you want to give it a try at your own risk.
Remember to read the article to the end for a warning as to why you should maybe not do this cheat.
- Start your game as normal. When you get to a point that you want to try to make a great roll, such as using a big high roller multiplier to try to get a ton of points or to get to Jail to try to score a high multiplier double (see: How to get thousands of free dice by landing on Go to Jail), turn on airplane mode on your device so that there is no live internet connection.
- Roll your dice, or make a number of rolls, then if you like the overall outcome, simply turn airplane mode off. This should restore your device's connection to the internet and allow the game to send the new data to their servers and lock in your rolls and rewards.
- If you don't like the outcome of the rolls since turning airplane mode on, shutdown your game. Start the game again, then while it is loading, when the loading bar is at about 15% turn airplane mode off again and the game should complete loading and if it has worked, you should get your dice back and should be at the point of the game when you turned airplane mode on originally.
Are Spins Pre-Determined?
Even if you use airplane mode, there is some speculation that when you turn you internet connection back on again, you'll still roll the same dice. Ok, that may be so, but at least you'll save dice by not using a multiplier if you think this will happen.
Other rumors that we've read include reports that there are different predetermined outcomes according to the size of multiplier that you use. And also that the predetermined state is only for the first one or two rolls. We've not experimented with this ourselves, so can't vouch for it's authenticity.
Will I get Banned for Using the Airplane Mode Glitch?
Well, the fact is, maybe... We've heard about some people getting banned for using airplane mode, but on the other hand, we've tried it ourselves a couple of times with very few dice to see if it actually worked or not. Obviously we don't want to get our account banned, so was just experimenting for the purpose of our articles.
Is the Airplane Mode Cheat patched?
At the time of writing we don't think it is patched yet. But we think that as news of the airplane mode glitch spreads it's only a matter of time before Scope.ly has to try to patch this exploit, so we don't expect it to be around for much longer.
What's the best way to use the Airplane Mode Glitch?
I would guess that the best way to this glitch is to get free dice, so that would be to trying to land on Go to Jail with your highest high roller multiplier, then trying to roll a double. We've read about people getting thousands of dice for free this way.
But remember, you can get banned for using this exploit, or it may well just not work out for you, in which case you've lost a ton of dice!
