I cannot find the last souvenirs on level one and I have played and solved all the puzzles numerous times and don't know how to activate the specials tiles.

When you tap the ticket point that you need to pass it will show you what souvenirs are missing and highlight the level that have the change to drop the missing ones as rewards. Play only those levels again and you should quickly get the missing items.
