How do you keep from dying from the green lightning that comes with the green strips?

Stand under a green platform. Or just move, the lightning plants a green dot a couple seconds before it drops.

After some testing, I can tell there are no items which could make you immune to this. Although Priest's special ability should work, only it's tedious to recast it through the level..

The green lightning strikes are telegraphed with green concentric circles at your character's position. These occur at random intervals.

It will strike at the precise center of the circle, exploding in a small area of effect, after 1-2 seconds.

The green energy platforms intercepts the strike, but the area of effect of the blast will still blow through and injure you, if you are standing too near beneath it.
