Part 2 - The Past

Welcome to Part 2 of our Lost Lands 10 walkthrough. This game is another in the popular line of Mystery escape room and puzzle games from Five-BN games. This game features beautifully designed environments and a diverse range of puzzles and hidden objects to find.

In Part 1 you explored an abandoned mansion where you found details about your old friends Folnur and the death Maaron. You have been asked to travel to the past to stop Folnur from turning to evil.

Main Game Walkthrough - Part 2 - The Past

After activating the Hexagon of Time in the courtyard you arrive in a forest clearing in the past.

Task - Mine by the River

Collection Item: Toto Toy in the grass above the large stone on the left.

Morphing Object: leaf on a branch on the top left.

Notice the Donkey on the upper left, you cannot help it yet.

Tap the path to the right to move to the river.

Collection Item: Academy Tower - next to the castle in the distance on the top left.

Morphing Object: Round / square bush on the left side.

View the crashed cart on the left, collect from the ground to the left is it a paper - Announcement Excerpt.

Then tap on a sign board by the broken bridge on the left. Add the excerpt to it and then read the notice.

Task - Missing Pontoon

Tap the road to the right to travel to the Halfling Fair.

Collection Item: Ghost of the past - lady in red to the right of the right side post.

Morphing Object: Toadstool / apple on the ground in front of the right side post.

Talk to the lady by the mirror on the left, you will receive the Key to the Greenhouse.

Back up to the river and tap on the greenhouse door on the right.

Use the key on this to open the metal cover and reveal the puzzle.

Greenhouse Puzzle

• The puzzle is made up of lines of flowers on grids.
• There are five red horizontal grid lines and nine vertical blue lines.
• Each of the lines have a limited number of flowers on them.
• Swap the grid lines around to arrange them so that every spot ont he entire grid has a flower in it.

Enter the Greenhouse.

Greenhouse Flowers

You now heed to find 20 flowers in the greenhouse scene. Look for touches of color from petals of hidden flowers.

First remove the blue sheet hanging on the left, you can then find 11 flowers in the main scene.

Next tap on a green bush on the lower left to view it closer. There are three more flowers here. (14)

Then select the halve handle on the bottom left and place it onto the faucet on the right, then attach the hose and turn on the water.

Next view the red desk on the right. The water will fill a can. Open the two drawers.

First read the paper on the right to see the instructions.

Select each of the two pouches of seeds from the left drawer and add them to the two pots of soil.

Then select the green growth potion from the right drawer and add it to the tall measuring beaker.

Then place this into the watering can.

Use the watering can on the two pots and flowers will grow.

Collect two more flowers. (16)

Next look in a square planter on the ground on the left. You can find two more flowers here (18)

Finally view the wooden box on the ground in the center.

Tap on the shoe under the shelf and then you can find a key, use this to open the box.

Look inside to find some pruning shears. Then use these on the plants on the shelf to the right to curt them back, you will find two more flowers (20).

This will collect the Flowers for Wreaths.

View the basket of flowers in your inventory. Then tap on them to star the puzzle.

Flower Wreaths Puzzle

• You have an outline of two wreaths and the basket of flowers.
• Select the flowers from the basket one at a time and place them into the circles on the wreaths.
• You need to make sure that there are no duplicates of the same flower in each single wreath.
• There are two of each type of flower.

Solution:

Once done you collect the Festive Wreaths and the Empty Basket.

You now need to find Bay leaves. Back up to the forest clearing where you arrived in the past.

On the right is a Laurel bush with green bay leaves, view this and add the empty basket to it to collect the Bay Leaves in to the basket.

Head back to the fair and view the mirror on the left. Add the wreaths and you will put them on.

Then give her the bay leaves. You will receive six Bay Leaves-passes.

You can now enter the fair, firs talk to the farmer with a hat on the left side. He will talk to you about his missing pigs.

Task - Fair Pigs

Collect the Secateurss from the ground.

Then talk to a man at the back with some Pumpkins. He will drop a pumpkin, you need to help him find a replacement. Collect the Broken Pumpkin.

Back up to the forest clearing and view a pumpkin patch by the trees.

Place the broken pumpkin into the center of the patch and then tap on it. You now need to select a matching pumpkin from the selection.

Tap on the one on the far right and then you can use the secateurs to cut it and collect the Wild Pumpkin.

Go back to the man with the pumpkins and give the wild pumpkin to him. He will give you a Dog whistle.

Now use the bay leaf passes on the spike on the table to spend one of them to start the Pumpkin Game.

Pumpkin Puzzle

There is a round tub in the center. You need to place all of the pumpkins inside.

Drag and place them so that they do not overlap or extend outside of the edge of the tub.

Once done you can collect a bowl of Sugar Lollipops from the table.

Now tap on a green archway on the right of the fair to find a woman by a bench. Talk to her.

Use the Sugar lollipops to be allowed to pass and then add two bay leaf passes to the spike on the bench.

You can now pass through the arch for a romantic walk by a lake.

Collection Item: Academy Tower, in the distance behind some tree on the upper left.

Morphing Object: Green item on some stones on the lower left by a fence post.

Now tap on the pontoon on the lake to talk to the people on it.

Task - Halfling's scent

Talk to the boy by the cart with the red covering on the left.

You will receive the Perfume recipe.

Now tap on the lake on the right side to see a lotus flower in the water, you cannot reach it but tap it to get a message. Then go back to the cart and now you can collect Joko's Staff from it.

Manuscript: a paper in the cart by the large jug.

Go back to the lake and you can use this to then collect the Lotus Flower.

Back up to the road by the river and then enter the Green house.

View the square planter with the green plants in it. Collect from here some Melissa.

Back up again to the forest clearing and view the pumpkin patch again. Tap the broken pumpkin to collect some Pumpkin Seeds.

Now view the donkey on the left of the clearing. Use the secateurs here to cut away some of the thorned bushes.

Then use the sugar lollipops on the donkey to lure it out.

Go to the road by the river and the donkey will appear by the fallen cart. Tap the donkey to attache the harness.

Then use the sugar lollipops on it again to pull the cart out of the ditch. You will return to the fair and visit the pig farmer again.

Use the bay leaf passes on the spike on the small table to start the pig herding game.

Pig Herding Puzzle

• There are two loops of pigs, some are white and some are pink.
• The center section that holds 4 pigs fro wither loop can be moved to the left or right.
• rotate the lines of pigs around the loops and then use the center section to swap pigs between them.
• Arrange the pigs so that all of the same color area grouped together in the two loops.

Once this is done you will receive the Scythe. And you will get a Pig.

Back up to the river and look on the ground where the cart was in the ditch to find a bottle, collect the Bottle with Alcohol.

Go through to the lake again and then view a field on the right side.

First view the sign, then collect from the right a Wheat Ear.

Next use the pig on the field and it will start to sniff about and make holes.

Look in the hole in the ground and collect the Truffle mushroom.

Now view the perfume recipe paper. You can add all of the items for the ingredients list now from your inventory. You will collect the Perfume Set.

Go back to Joko's cart and add the perfume set to it. Then we can follow the instructions to make the perfume.

Use the large jug on the bowl on the left to add water.

Place the gauze over the bowl

Tap the ingredients on the right to add them on top.

Tap the copper pipe to add this as well.

Tap the valve on the barrel to pour out some condensate into the glass.

Tap the smaller valve on the front of the glass container to empty out the floral water and retain the essential oil.

Add the bottle of alcohol to the glass measuring jug. You will collect back the Remaining Alcohol.

Then use the large jug on the same measuring jug to add water.

Now tap the measuring jug to add the perfume from the glass to it.

Finally tap the spoon to stir the mixture. Then tap the measuring jug again to add the purfume to the small bottle on the left.

Collect the Perfume Halfling scent..

Now tap on the couple by the lake, the pontoon is yours, but you need to transport it.

Back up to the fair and then use the sugar lollipops on the cart to entice the donkey through to the lake. View the cart.

There are two handles on the crane, tap one to extend the crane arm and the other to lower the rope.

Then use the Hammer on the bolts at the back of the cart to open the tail gate.

Use the controls again to lift the pontoon back into the cart.

Use the Sugar lollipops one more time on the donkey to get the cart to the river.

When you are there tap the river to lower the pontoon into place.

This completes the task.

You can now cross the river to get to the mine.
