What are the wooden swords when mining in legend of slime?

What are the wooden swords when mining in legend of slime? I noticed whenever I hit the red and gold treasure boxes sometimes it gives me a wooden sword that I don't seem to be able to do anything with as I don't see it in the menu anywhere. Would be nice to know what it is or if I will be able to use them later

Those are one of the weapons in the gear section for your slime menu, they are not used in the mine at all they come out of a chest randomly

I just know realized that the wooden sword / sicles and more loot you get from the chest your mining. You are just getting the grey weapons
