There are several members in my team who have not played for over 12 months - is there a way to remove them, so other active members can join in their place?

ABSOLUTELY remove them! If you can’t figure out how to remove them, watch a how-to video on YouTube. There’s so many people looking for a great team to be on! Give the deadbeats the boot.
I've taken players off who haven't played for months. There's a thing by their name. Click it and it will ask if you're sure you want to remove. I also have noticed players who log into competitions but score 0. I warn them after I see it twice that they'll be removed if I see it again
