How to change the Text Color in Messages
June's Journey - Hidden Object Guide

Last Updated:

A common question that we have for June's Journey is how to change the color of the text when you post messages or when composing the club description. In both cases it is possible to use some formatting options to stylize the text.

HTML

To make the style changes you can use certain HTML code tags within the message. These can change the color, add bold and underlines as well as other options. Some example are below.

Please note that when you type the code in the message box it will only appear as code for you until you click send (on the chat message) or Save Changes on the club message. Once it is posted everyone will see the formatted text with the color and other changes.

Colored Text

To make a word or words a specific color the tags you need are as follows:

<color=#123456>Text goes here</color>

You will need the opening tag in front of the text and the closing tag at the end.

The part after the color= is a color code.

This can either be a hexadecimal code that will allow you to set almost any color or you can also use a number of standard html color names. Here are some examples:

- This <color=red>text</color> will be red

- This <color=#FF0000>text</color> will be red

This text will be red

- This <color=green>text</color> will be green

- This <color=#008000>text</color> will be green

This text will be green

- This <color=blue>text</color> will be blue

- This <color=#0000FF>text</color> will be blue

- This <color=yellow>text</color> will be yellow

- This <color=#FFFF00>text</color> will be yellow

- This <color=black>text</color> will be black
