I want to join a group in the coffee lounge with the people I play against and gift plants to but the..

There was never an explanation for the coffee lounge. I was once about to get into some kind of puzzle in there but I have no idea what to do or where to find the competitions they talk about. And then it's in military time. I just don't get it. I gift coffee to people. They tip. How do you tip? Is the coffee the whole competition? There is nothing online or anywhere explaining. :-(

I read the instructions about how to play June’s Journey before I ever started playing the game. When the game first opens, close to the upper right hand corner of the screen, there’s a gear inside a small green circle. Tapping on it opens the menu for “Settings”. Under the “Basic” heading is a long green bar labeled “Help”. Tapping it opens a list of topics that provide fairly detailed (but not complicated) instructions and explanations about how to play the game. Anyone reading all that’s listed won’t have too many questions after.

To be able to play the competitions you have to join a club or you have to create your own club. If you want to create your own club it "ll cost you 5000 coins. Once you have joined the group then you "ll be able to share or receive the coffee/drinks from your fellow club members.

How do you apply to join an application only club can you do this if you are already in another club

No, you can only apply to another club if you leave your present one. The "apply" button will not be available until you leave.
