More Immortal Awakening
Getting high-level gear significantly boosts the wearer’s BR. These gear will usually have sockets where you can insert gems to further increase their stats. In our Gem Insertion Guide, we will quickly discuss how gems can be used to improve your gear stats and your BR down the line.
Immortal Awakening is an AFK action-RPG from Neocraft Limited where you can just sit back, relax, and watch the game do all the work for you. You can pick your starting character, accept quests, and progress through various tasks at the tap of a button. The game also has auto-pathfinding and auto-battle so you just need to manage your character’s equipment, level, and more.
The Gem Insertion screen can be accessed by tapping your avatar in the top-left corner then selecting the Forge menu, then selecting the Gem Insertion tab on the left pane.
In this screen, you’ll see equipment and their respective gem slots. The number of slots a gear can have will depend on its grade and quality. Only high-level gear can accommodate high-level gems. There are also specific gems that can only be inserted into different gears, as listed below.

Gems also have qualities. Of course, the higher the quality, the better the stat boost. Thankfully, you can combine several low-quality gems to a higher ranked one. Since several low-quality gems are needed, you’re better off to spread them across your gears and ensure that every slot has a gem first before eventually upgrading your individual socketed gems.
Aside from manually upgrading the gems on the same screen, you can also tap the Go Combine button in the bottom-right corner to get taken to the dedicated Combine Gem screen where you can process the upgrade of several gems in your possession. Don’t forget to insert these newly upgraded gems to your equipment!
Finally, we have the Gem Rating which is the cumulative rating or power of all the gems currently socketed. After reaching the specific threshold, the Gem Rating will increase and provide additional stat bonuses. You can find this button in the bottom-right corner of the Gem Insertion screen.
