If someone on your friend's list on Monopoly Go is being particularly annoying and always targeting you for Shut Downs, you can easily stop that from happening by removing them from your friend's list, here's how.

How to Remove Friends in Monopoly Go

If you want to remove a friend for any reason from your friends list on Monopoly Go, simply follow these steps:

• Tap on the Friends tab at the bottom of the game.
• Select Leaderboard
• Scroll down and find the friend you would like to remove. Unfortunately there is no search option or sorting other than by net worth currently.
• When you have found the friend you would like to remove, tap on their name, the remove button should appear then just click that.

That will remove your friend from your list, and the good news is if they try to re-add you again, then you'll need to approve them, it won't just be automatic.

So once you have removed a friend, that should be it, you'll not get hit by them in a Shutdown.
