Frozen City is a city-building simulation game from Century Games. Set in a future wold of snow and ice you must colonize and rebuild abandoned towns but setting up a warm fire and then building up the local resource production to make the city sustainable.

Follow the Tasks List

Initially you will be guided as you play through the first city to get used to the concepts. The second city you will be more on your own but it will introduce heroes and a campaign mode.

From the third city development will be up to you but you will still have a task list to follow. This will be your main guide for what you need to do next. You can of course build and develop outside your current tasks and this can help your progress but you will need to complete the tasks so make sure to work on them when you can.

Take care of survivors needs

Apart from the task list your other main priority is the survivors. You will need to make sure they are adequately fed, kept warm and get enough rest. Make sure to work on the furnace, hunters lodge, kitchen, and dorms. This will prevent your survivors from getting ill, dieing or striking. All of these outcomes are not a serious problem as new survivors will join you, but low satisfaction and survivor shortages will slow you down.

Get Heroes

Heroes will become one of the most important requirements of the game progress. They will greatly improve your production rates and are needed to unlock additional work clots in production buildings. You can gain heroes through opening chests.

Free Chests

You will be able to open a free common chest every 8 hours in the shop. By watching a video ad you can also open a second chests each time. Every chests will award one or more hero cards and these are essential so make sure to open these whenever you can. You can also get many more free chests from the weekend event.

Play the Weekend events

The weekend events are fun and while like the main game they are short term min games where you just need to make money. These events will offer very good rewards if you can spend enough time playing them which will greatly help your main game progress by granting hero cards and materials as well as gems.

Map Campaign

Once it unlocks make sure to visit the map campaign where you will fight creatures to each Wishing stars rewards, these will help you level up the heroes. Completing levels will earn some rewards and also let you earn idle rewards for more wishing stars. The stronger you make your heroes the better you can do and the more you can earn. Play a little but often

It is not necessary to play the game for long periods and as you earn offline idle rewards it makes sense to leave the game to run. But you should return often to collect rewards to make sure you get the most out of it. The standard offline max collecting time is 2 hours, although you can extend this by paying for a package. When you return you will collect the main game earnings. Make sure to also visit the Map campaign to claim the wishing stars earned.
