Weekend Events

Each weekend in Frozen City there is a special event that runs and allows you to earn extra rewards. This event is useful for gaining gems and hero resources such as Blazing Stars, Hero Cards and chests.

The events start at 17:00 UTC on Friday and runs for 3 days (72 hours) finishing at 17:00 on Monday.

Events

There are 2 games currently available that can appear, Grandpa's Farm and Fish Farming.

The games are mini versions of the main game set in the times before the big freeze. You will need to spend time developing the resource production, selling the crops and gaining workers.

Event Hints

You only have a limited time for this mini game and with rewards granted as you reach certain milestones you will need to make the most of your opportunities in the event.

The aim of the event to is earn as much money as you can to unlock the milestone rewards, these rewards and possibly some from your rank position, if you do well, will be what you gain and take back to your main game. Concentrate at all times on increasing your earning rate.

You can switch between the special event and the main game at any time and you will earn offline (idle) progress while you are not in the event.

If you have money to spend on this event then the "Grandpa's Booster" Gold statue (in the Farm game) or Golden Anchor (in the Fishing game) will greatly boost your earnings and increase offline rewards which will make gaining progress easier. It is not essential but will help especially if you cannot spend a lot of time in the game.

Keep an eye on your tasks to claim rewards. For the Farm game you can spend any coins in the country slot machine for very useful rewards for your game. Money, passion (hearts) are useful, skill books will be essential to boosting the earning. In the Fishing event you should be looking to complete tasks to open chests, the cards for heroes and skills will be your path to boosting earnings.

There will be regular offers to watch a video ad in return for money, hearts and other rewards these appear at the bottom middle of the screen. You can also find free coins or chests depending on the event in the shop that you can claim every few hours. Taking advantage of these opportunities will help you progress.

For both events you will be able to spend gems on wither the Fishermans chests or to Buy Farmers coins with will help you gain bonuses. If you have spare gems then we would advise doing this early on to get a good head start in your development. If you do well through the event you will earn back a good amount of gems by the end.
