I'm on level 26 & I'm stuck on the task "Open the Gift" because I can't find it. I've literally looked everywhere on my island & I don't see a gift anywhere. It's not in my inventory either. Where is this gift??

The gift will appear as you advance in the game. It’s all about patience.

Use a shovel to remove a tree stump. That will reveal a gift box.

Have you touched the little magnifying glass next to the task? It will point you in the right direction.
