In Epic Seven there are so many heroes to choose from and to focus on trying to level up in the game it can be hard to know which is the best on to focus on.

Each hero has different strengths and weaknesses, some may be better at healing, and others at fighting. So, there probably is not one single hero that is obviously the best. But there are a few that are better than others, and these are the ones that you should be on the lookout for.

Best Healer

First of all lets take a look at the Healers in the game. These guys will usually sit at the back of a team and offer healing support to the fighters.

Elson

Although just a 3 star character, Elson is a fantastic healer.

If you don't get Elson via drops, then you'll need to get her via connections.

Tap the character sitting at the far left of the lobby and that will bring up the connections page, over on the right you will see the avatars of the different characters you can forge connections with.

A little way down is Elson and if you tap his head you will see what you need to do to get her.

As well as being a great healer, she is also fantastic at debuff, and has a strong power called Meteor Shower which not only attacks your enemy but gives a massive HP recovery to your whole active team.

Remember that although she starts as a 3 star character, this is not permanent, and she can be leveled up to 6 stars like anyone else.

Destina

Great 5 star healer and one of the best in the game overall. Being a 5 star character she is a little harder to get, but there is currently a Destina Event where you can try to get her at an increased drop rate. If you want to get her, then during this event is probably the best time to try.

Aither

Is another strong healer to look out for.

Best Archer / Ranger

Silk

Superfast ranger class attacker, 4 star unit

Yuna, although a 5 star character, is probably not as good as Silk, but still a great one to have in your team from the Ranger class.

Leo is also a great ranger class character

Best Tank

A tank is great a soaking up a load of hits, and if you are going to have one in your team, then really you need to be thinking about trying to get one of the best in the game.

Our favourites are Crimson Rose and Crimson Flame.

The main difference between these two characters are one is dark and the other light. Ideally you should get both! What one works best for your team though will depend on what part of the game you are playing and the rest of your team.

Best Warrior

Brawler Ken is OP. This could be the overall best character in the game. He is great for the adventure mode, against bosses and in arena mode too. General Purrgis and Judge Kise are also great characters in this class especially if you are looking for a light warrior as Brawler Ken is dark.

Best Mage

Tenebria is the character you should look out for when trying to get a Mage, she looks to be the best in all modes

Best Rogue

If you can get hold of Sez, then he will do very well for you thorughout the game as a Rogue and general character in all teams.

Best Team

The best team will really come down to what characters you have unlocked so far in the game, but an ideal team could be something like this:
