As soon as you able to you should build an Alliance Center in your camp and join an alliance.

Being part of an alliance will help you enjoy more fully the game as well as getting a load of in-game benefits.

When you join an alliance for the first time in your game, you'll collect 300 gems, that's a decent amount to go spend on VIP tickets as you try to get to VIP level 6 and unlock the second builder.

You'll also get help from alliance members to reduce your construction time for buildings and upgrades. This will save you a ton of speedups over the course of the game.

Selecting an Alliance

The best alliances are the ones with active members and lots of them, but sometimes alliances have minimum power requirements, so if you are just starting out in the game look for alliances that have lots of members and that are marked 'anyone can join' these are the ones that you can get in right away.

As you build up your power you may want to apply for a better alliance with more power and members and the benefits from the alliance will likely be better.

Alliance Tab

Once you have joined an alliance you can click the alliance tab at the bottom of the game screen this will show all of the alliance options that you have in the game.

The hub of your alliance interactions, here is what is all means...

Warfare - This shows any attacks with rallies that are happening at the moment, if you see any when you click this button, there may be one that you would like to join. Just check the distance so you are not too far and any requirements before you do.

Hero Support - Here alliance members may assign one Hero to assist with allies for Z-Virus Adventure stages. You gain 1000 Alliance Points for every assist, and may receive up to 5000 alliance points per day.

Territory - The territory tab is where you can see all of the alliance buildings, the Alliance Fort is an important building and the main stronghold of the alliance. Alliance watchtowers help expand the territory of the alliance. These two types of buildings have their construction started by alliance leaders but anyone in the alliance can help with their construction.

It also shows details of the Resouce Center, which is a building that can be constructed by the alliance (started by a leader) which offers a safer resource collection point. If one is available, it's usually a good idea to gather resources from an alliance resource center.

In the territory tab you can also collect alliance resources that you have been allocated that have been derived from alliance resource nodes - basically free resources from you from the alliance.

Help -The help tab allows you to quickly help all alliance members to bring down their construction time. The amount of help you can get is dictated by the alliance level and your VIP level.

Store - In the alliance store you can spend any alliance points that you may have accumulated from helping others in the alliance, helping to construct alliance buildings and alliance gifts. The store is restocked by alliance leaders with alliance gold coins.

Technology - This is an important tab in the alliance section and allows you to help with increasing the power of your alliance by improving it's technology. It requires you to donate resources to do this. In return you get a stronger alliance, it also gets tech points and you get some alliance points to spend in the alliance store.

Relocating to Alliance Territory

When you join an alliance for the first time, you'll be invited to relocate to alliance territory, make sure you do this so you can get some protection from your alliance and just be closer to alliance members. If you don't do this, use a teleport to move there manually.

Conclusion

This is the type of game that has many benefits of being part of an alliance, our recommendation is to try to join an active and powerful one as the benefits are usually better. But make sure that you join one that fits in well with you too. A lot of alliances can try to be heavy handed and get upset if you don't log in every day and contribute, so in many cases, it's often better to join a more laid back alliance that is not so strict, especially in the beginning.
