A major part of the game is to defeat zombies on the map, this bags you some EXP and well as some useful resources.

To do this, tap the magnifying glass from the main game screen then select the level of zombie that you want to attack. You must start at level one and go up incrementally one by one... So you can hunt for level 5 zombies right away, you must first defeat levels 1-4 first.

But once they have been defeated once, you can go straight ahead and go back to your highest level each time, you don't need to start form 1 again! Higher level zombies are more difficult to kill, but you also get better rewards too.

Each time you attack zombies you use some of your green stamina, you have plenty, and it does recover over time, but you can run out if you attack lots of zombies then you either have to wait for it to recover over time, use emergency stamina recovery pots or gems if you want to carry on attacking more zombies on the map.

You can also browse the map to attack zombies, selecting the ones that you want to fight by tapping on them and then clicking attack.

When you send an attack the game will tell you your chance of success and the amount of stamina being used for the attack.

As well as rewards you will get some injuries too, so check your hospital and don't forget to heal your wounded. You can also use alliance help to heal wounded which is useful if you have a lot!

Attacking zombies on the map is a great way to get EXP and rewards especially in the beginning of the game, make sure you level up your favorite hero and have enough troops to take on higher level zombies to get better rewards. Use up your stamina on this grinding method for the rewards that you need to keep upgrading.
