Chapter 8

This is our full walkthrough for Chapter 8 of Adventure Escape: Framed for Murder, another great escape room game from Haiku.

After investigating the vandalized painting in chapter 7 you are now heading back to the dorm room to look for more evidence.

Use the elevator. We want to check out Caesar's room but first we need to head to the basement so press B.

Collect the sponge from the washer and the paperclip from the table.

Now head up to the third floor and to room 15 as we did before.

On the table tap to view the 'New student orientation'. This gives us Caesar's locker number.

Also on the table is a spray can. The nozzle is blocked.

Use the paperclip on the can to unblock it and then you can collect the 'Paint Thinner'

Tap on the covered easel on the left to remove the sheet, then view it.

Use the paint thinner on it and then the sponge to reveal a number

Now we can go back to the basement.

Tap to view the Lockers access panel.

Hint: Enter the locker number at the top, 827. Then use the 8 wide buttons to set the code. Each button will make several of the digits change. This is indicated by the arrows.

You now collect a map. And a set of instructions.

Star: base of the fountain on the right.

Follow the directions listed to navigate the map. then tap on the map to search the spot to find Caesar’s stash.

Hint: Note the compass at the bottom for the directions. North is not up on the map.

We have found the location of Caesar's secret stash. So now we need to go get it in the gardens.

First collect the rake and the shears from the ground and by the fountain.

You can collect a red puzzle piece from the 3 figures at the top, and a pink one from the base of the statue.

Use the shears to cut the bushes on the top right to get a green piece and finally use the rake on the sand top left to find a blue piece.

Collect the hat from the figure to the left.

Use the shears on the kite that is on the bush to the left of the statue. This collect a kite frame.

Use the kite frame on the blocked pipe on the fountain. This clears it and something falls out.

Now use the hat on the water to collect a Yellow Puzzle piece.

Notice the four clues around the garden:

- GRASP FLOWING WATER.

- WATCHFUL EYES FOLLOW HANDS.

- BALANCING ACT.

- REACH TO THE STARS.

The statue in the center can be moved and posed by tapping on the head, arms and legs.

Hint: follow the clues to decide on the correct pose / positions.

There is a now a puzzle box at the base of the statue.

First add the 5 extra pieces to the puzzle.

Hint: You need to move all the pieces to the correct places. Each has a matching color and shape.

Move the top blue piece to complete it.

The box opens to reveal a tape recorder. Listen to the recording and then you can collect the USB stick.

Something happens to Kate and this will complete chapter 8. Move on to Chapter 9.
