When I complete the daily puzzles I do not always get my coins even when I have the require amount of words to be solved.

The daily puzzle does not reward coins, you get stars. During the month the stars add up and you unlock up to 4 pictures with a coin reward for each. The coins only come when you reach the total stars needed for each picture.
