Our team was invaded by someone who repeatedly does rude sexual comments. If the team originator-leader does not see these, is there any other way to kick the person off? It does not look like the person is on the team but rather hacked the app.

You should report anyone that is causing trouble or distress in the game to the developers. Please see the support page for the contact options. If you can send them details of the messages / screenshots, times etc. hopefully they can deal with it.

If team leader is not active, I have heard teams have decided to leave together for a newly formed team which will then have a new team leader. This leader will then be able to kick troublesome members. Make sure leader chooses "Anyone" can join as then have control to not allow kicked players to return.
