What’s the formula for brilliance points?
The number of Brilliance points awarded per any given puzzle is predetermined by the developer, and it is always the same for any given puzzle. Brilliance points earned has nothing to do with speed, bonus words found, or incorrect answers. For example: The puzzle M-O-D-E-S-T, when solved, always results in 46 points. I have played this puzzle at least 5 times, at varying speeds and with varying bonus words, and it is always the same: 46 Brilliance.
The formula is: B = (W-2) * (L-2) -2
Where W is the number of words in the puzzle and L is either 6 or 7 depending on the number of letters on the wheel.
Extra words, speed etc don't come into play.
B=(W-2) x (L-2) + 2.
This is. Verified and correct now. Wife sez so)
As best as i can tell, depends on speed of answers to puzzle and number of words in puzzle. I don't know if word size matters.
