I've been trying for 3 weeks to get one more German Shepard to finish Furry friends, I must have played at least at least 500 games yet not one single time did that dog come up. I've had almost as bad as this for a few other categories but this gets tha all time " stupidly frustrating" award.

Agree - 112 of 85%, 6 of the next 10% (but not enough to get 3)., and none of the rest

My guess is they want to keep you playing during non-tournament times. However once you hqve played awhile, it becomes .next to impossible to get some of the objects , while you get others way too many times. They make it appear like the chances to get any object are equal, it is not true! The binocular games are fixed.

The binoculars are part of the new mid week event. During the timed event you are able to earn binoculars when completing levels. These add up and when you fill the meter you can claim reward boxes that earn progress towards profile pictures to use.

1. The rewards are "portraits" which you can use for you profile picture.
2. You can ignore them. They are purely cosmetic.

If you think too much about some aspects of this game, I suggest finding another game. I have become okay with the unanswerable aspects of this game. The thing is that the questions are actually answerable, but you have to spend too much time finding a piddling answer that you didn’t need to find. Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate that people take time to explain. It’s just that I am always hoping that the answers will be satisfying. They seldom. Nor do they improve my game.

After I open the boxes, there is a level meter. How come I never get past level 2 when I play for the two days and have 50 or more of each animal? Also I have never seen it give me a portrait.

Why are binoculars in some of the boxes? Are they there for some purpose? Should those words be the first to enter into the grid?

I think the level meter is just how far you are until the next box - the same as the circle you can see from the main screen. So, you are probably just going in at the same "level" every time, i.e. after just completing a level. I think it is coincidence fed by your consistent behavior.
