When a team member asks for help what does it give them?

If 5 teammates click to give you "help", you get 1 hint, the same hint that usually costs 100 pts, and has the light bulb icon on your playing screen.

The question is what happens for the asker not the giver 0 1 REPORT

5 helps received = 1 hint1 help given = 1 point
I don't see any downside to giving or receiving.
I always ask for and give help.

What if you have fewer than five teammates? All of my team members have helped each other, but there are not enough of us to fill up the help bar all of the way.Guest Replied

The asker gets the hint (mentioned in the other answer), when 5 team members help that person.
The helper gets one gold coin for each person they help.
