How do the tournaments work? How do you get your ranking and what are the stars for?

Tournaments run on the weekend. You play levels as normal during the tournament time period and you gain stars for each word you find (including bonus words). At the end of each level you can see your current tournament position in a star icon on the left with the time remaining show. Tap this to see your points and position on the leader board.

Once the tournament ends you will be able to see your final position and to collect any reward that you may have won if you score well enough.

If someone on your up team asked for help, five teammates have to select the help button for that person to get a free hint. You can only ask for hints every 3-4 hours.

During tournaments, My bonus points only go to the coin cart, they do seem to be included in the total of stars
