I completed wordle but didn't realise it had just passed Midnight. I was then able to play the next..

I completed wordle but didn't realise it had just passed Midnight. I was then able to play the next game. My streak has gone back to 1 and my stats show the same number of games played as the day before. Why isn't it remembering the right stats

I guess if you did the previous days wordle but didn't complete it before the end of the day then it didn't count.
