Assuming that any string of letters is allowed and the word to guess is ABCDE what will happen if I enter EEEEE. According to rules I have read I should get one green and 4 yellows.
I cannot find the FULL rules specified anywhere.
The proposed solution must be an English word, although English usage includes words from other languages, like PIZZA. You can’t enter a string of random letters.
However, you can come up with 3 words for your first 3 guesses that include the most commonly used letters without repetition, thus eliminating 15 letters out of 26. Some people use that systematic approach.
You need to enter a valid word. A string of the same or random letters will be rejected.
You will get 1 green & 4 grays. Because testers only 1 e in the answer
The Guest Answer is also the approach I use and also use up all the vowels. I have two sets of my first three words, one that I use on odd numbered days and one for even numbered days. They are "ORATE", "INCUS", and "LYMPH"; or "SERAI", "DONUT", and "LYMPH". For variety I can substitute "ARISE", "RAISE", or "REAIS" for "SERAI". This technique allowed me remain undefeated and solve almost a thousand games.
