Simply put, undawn is basically lifeafter with less microtransaction, more forgiving crafting resources requirements, better house building, less restriction and you don't have to join a camp to craft certain equipments like weapon accessories.

So, a more casual pve experience where you don't have to grind everyday just to make a pair of pants.

From what I see, only things monetized are cosmetics and more advanced stuffs for advanced players.

Also you didnt have to play a gacha game to get blueprints to craft house builds and equipments.

Which is why I prefer it to lifeafter.
