I'm on level 5 on vineyard but haven't gotten the dryer yet, any tips?

It took me ages to get a dryer on levels 4 and 5 of vineyard. Then they seemed to keep turning up on levels 6 and 7, but I don't need it anymore! All I can say is keep going, and it will turn up eventually.
